Cookie Policy
Effective August 6, 2026
This policy lists the cookies and other browser storage Roundcade uses. We use only cookies that are strictly necessary to sign you in and keep the service secure. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.
Cookies we set
Roundcade uses essential cookies to maintain your session, prevent forged account actions, and protect funded Gem Match offers from duplicate use in one browser profile. They are limited to Roundcade and contain random security values rather than profile details or message content. Session cookies expire within 90 days. The browser-profile security cookie described below expires within one year.
- Session cookie. Keeps you signed in. Page scripts cannot read it, and the live service sends it only over an encrypted connection.
- Request-protection cookie. Helps Roundcade confirm that sensitive account requests came from the site you are using rather than another website.
- Funded-match browser cookie. Gives this browser profile a random, script-hidden identifier when you use Gem Match. The server stores only a keyed one-way result and uses it to stop two accounts in the same browser profile from keeping funded offers active at the same time. It is not proof of identity, is not an advertising identifier, and is never used as the only reason for a sanction.
These cookies are strictly necessary: without them you cannot stay signed in or act on your account safely. Because they are strictly necessary, and because our analytics does not use cookies at all, we do not show a cookie consent banner. Deleting them, or signing out, ends your session. Clearing the funded-match browser cookie gives that browser profile a new random identifier; it does not change any Gem hold or match record already stored on the server.
Other browser storage
Local storage is not a cookie: it stays in your browser and is not attached to requests. Roundcade uses it for the following purposes:
- Room continuity - temporary information that lets you return to a room after a refresh or brief connection loss.
- Preferences - sound, music, graphics quality, and similar choices.
- Interface state - details such as the last display name used, the position of movable controls, and which feed or profile tab you had open.
- Sign-in flow - limited state used to coordinate open tabs and return you to the page you requested after signing in.
- Voice room settings - your own choices for a voice room, such as your preferred input device and whether you joined muted. Your microphone is never switched on by stored state; joining a voice room always requires your browser's own microphone permission, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Recently viewed - a short local list of games and screens you opened, used to put them back within reach. It stays in your browser.
None of this is used to profile you or to decide what appears in your feed. Feed recommendations are worked out on our servers from things like shared games and mutual connections, never from browser storage.
Clearing this storage can drop you from a room, reset preferences, or interrupt an unfinished sign-in flow. None of it is sent to advertisers or used to track you across other websites.
Analytics
Roundcade uses cookieless measurements to understand aggregate page visits and how quickly and smoothly pages load. They do not follow you across other websites or build an advertising profile.
Your controls
You can clear Roundcade's cookies and storage through your browser's site data settings, and most browsers let you block cookies for a site entirely. Clearing them signs you out, drops you from any room, and resets your saved preferences. Browser privacy tools and content blockers may also stop analytics requests, and Roundcade will keep working normally if they do.
Changes and questions
If we introduce any new storage or tracking technology, we will list it here and ask for consent where the law requires it. Questions go to socialdesignlab.ph@gmail.com.
