Draw & Guess
Two teams, one sketchpad - draw the secret word and race your team to guess it.
What you are trying to do
Help your team identify the secret words faster and more often than the other team.
Take the sketchpad
Teams alternate. The active drawer selects a private word that only they can see.
Draw, do not spell
Sketch visual clues without letters or numbers while teammates submit guesses.
Rotate and total
Fast guesses score more, the drawer benefits from successful teammates, and every player gets a drawing turn.
Complete rules for Draw & Guess
These are the disclosed rules used by the room—not a simplified summary that changes once the match begins.
- 01
Players split into two teams, blue and red.
- 02
On your team's turn, one teammate is the drawer and picks a secret word.
- 03
The drawer sketches it - no letters or numbers allowed. Only their team can guess.
- 04
Type your guesses. Faster, earlier guesses score more; the drawer scores for every teammate who gets it.
- 05
Everyone takes a turn drawing. The team with the most points wins.
Modes & room settings
Every setting below is validated by the server. The default is marked so a new host knows exactly what will run without changing anything.
Classic setup—no hidden host modifiers
Draw & Guess currently runs the complete rules shown above for every room. The host chooses who joins and when to start, but cannot silently change the board, scoring, or win condition.
Three useful habits
Start with the object's broad silhouette before adding details.
Use scale, arrows, and repeated shapes instead of writing forbidden clues.
Guess continuously—partial drawings often reveal the category before the final detail.
