Liar's Dice
Bluff and call bluffs - the last one with dice wins.
What you are trying to do
Survive every challenge by reading the table, managing bids, and becoming the last player with dice.
Roll in secret
Each player sees only their own dice; all bids describe the combined hidden table.
Raise or challenge
Make a strictly higher legal bid, call Dudo, or use Calza when the Perudo ruleset permits it.
Reveal and lose dice
The server counts the reveal, applies wild-one and Palifico rules, then removes or restores dice as required.
Complete rules for Liar's Dice
These are the disclosed rules used by the room—not a simplified summary that changes once the match begins.
- 01
Everyone starts with 5 dice and rolls in secret. You only ever see your own dice.
- 02
A bid claims the TOTAL number of a face across ALL dice on the table, e.g. 'three 4s'.
- 03
On your turn: raise the bid (higher quantity, or the same quantity on a higher face), or call 'Dudo' (bluff).
- 04
When you call Dudo, everyone reveals. If the bid was true, you lose a die. If it was a bluff, the bidder loses a die.
- 05
Lose all your dice and you are out. Last player with dice wins.
- 06
Wild ones (host option, on by default): ones count as any face, so counts run higher than they look. You bid on faces 2 to 6 - ones themselves aren't bid directly, they just boost the count (this build keeps that simple, without the separate ace-bidding sub-rule).
- 07
Perudo (host option): 'Calza' calls the count EXACTLY - right and you win a die back, wrong and you lose one. And when a player drops to one die, a 'Palifico' round locks the face and turns off wild ones.
Modes & room settings
Every setting below is validated by the server. The default is marked so a new host knows exactly what will run without changing anything.
Rules
Chooses the table's challenge rules.
Uses Dudo challenges and the straightforward elimination loop.
Adds Calza exact-count calls and one-die Palifico rounds with a locked face and no wild ones.
Ones (aces)
Controls whether ones add to bids on faces two through six.
Ones boost every bid on faces two through six unless Palifico turns them off.
Only dice showing the bid's exact face count toward it.
Three useful habits
Start from the dice you can see, then estimate the unseen table instead of bidding on hope alone.
Wild ones make ordinary face bids stronger; remember they switch off in Palifico.
A sudden quantity jump may be confidence, pressure, or a bluff—compare it with the bidder's remaining dice.
