Reaction Duel
Wait for GO, then tap first. Jump early and you lose..
What you are trying to do
React after GO—not before it—and reach the selected round-win target first.
Hold
A random server delay prevents players from predicting when GO will appear.
React
The first valid tap after GO wins; an early tap is a false start and loses the round.
Repeat
Round winners accumulate until someone reaches the chosen match target.
Complete rules for Reaction Duel
These are the disclosed rules used by the room—not a simplified summary that changes once the match begins.
- 01
Wait for the GO signal, then tap as fast as you can. Fastest valid tap wins the round.
- 02
Do NOT tap before GO. Tapping early is a false start and you lose the round.
- 03
The delay before GO is random, so you cannot time it. You have to react.
- 04
First to the target number of round wins takes the match (the host sets it).
- 05
Your reaction is measured on the server, so nothing can be faked and a low ping helps.
Modes & room settings
Every setting below is validated by the server. The default is marked so a new host knows exactly what will run without changing anything.
Match
Sets how many reaction rounds decide the match.
First to 3 decides the match; the first player to reach that round-win target wins.
First to 5 decides the match; the first player to reach that round-win target wins.
First to 7 decides the match; the first player to reach that round-win target wins.
Three useful habits
Keep your pointer or thumb settled over the control before the wait begins.
React to the visual change instead of counting an imagined delay.
A stable connection helps, but an early tap always loses regardless of ping.
