Connect 4
Drop discs and line up four in a row before your rival.
What you are trying to do
Make a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line of four before your rival.
Choose a column
Players alternate; each disc falls to the lowest open cell.
Build two threats
A single threat can be blocked. Connected structures can force the opponent to answer the wrong side.
Connect or draw
The first line of four wins. A completely filled board without one is a draw.
Complete rules for Connect 4
These are the disclosed rules used by the room—not a simplified summary that changes once the match begins.

Modes & room settings
Every setting below is validated by the server. The default is marked so a new host knows exactly what will run without changing anything.
Classic setup—no hidden host modifiers
Connect 4 currently runs the complete rules shown above for every room. The host chooses who joins and when to start, but cannot silently change the board, scoring, or win condition.
Three useful habits
The center column participates in more possible lines than an edge.
Check the opponent's immediate winning drops before playing your own plan.
A strong move creates two different winning cells for the next turn.
