What you are trying to do
Finish with the winning disc count under the room's Classic or Reversed goal.
Outflank
Place a disc only where it brackets at least one opposing line against another disc of yours.
Flip every line
All bracketed discs in rows, columns, and diagonals change color in the same move.
Resolve the board
Turns pass automatically when no move exists. When neither side can move, the selected disc-count goal decides the winner.

These are the disclosed rules used by the room—not a simplified summary that changes once the match begins.

Two players: Dark and Light. Dark moves first.
- 02
Place a disc so a straight line (row, column or diagonal) of your rival's discs is trapped between it and another of your discs. Every trapped disc flips to your color.
- 03
You may only play where you flip at least one disc. If you have no legal move, your turn is skipped.
- 04
The game ends when neither player can move (usually a full board).
- 05
Classic goal: the MOST discs wins. Reversed goal (host option): the FEWEST discs wins.
- 06
Corners can never be flipped, so they are gold. Beware the squares next to a corner - they can hand it over.

Every setting below is validated by the server. The default is marked so a new host knows exactly what will run without changing anything.
Board size
Changes match length and the amount of positional space.
Uses the 6 x 6 layout for this match.
Uses the 8 x 8 layout for this match.
Uses the 10 x 10 layout for this match.
Goal
Chooses whether the final high or low disc count wins.
The player with the most discs when neither side can move wins.
The player with the fewest discs when neither side can move wins.
Three useful habits
Corners are permanent; treat nearby squares as dangerous until the corner is secured.
Mobility—the number of moves you leave yourself—often matters more than the current score.
In Reversed mode, avoid applying Classic instincts blindly because fewer final discs win.
